About Dr. Brislin
Dr. Emily Brislin is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of adults and geriatrics. She conducts neuropsychological and psychological evaluations on adolescents (16 and older), adults, and geriatrics with a variety of medical, neurological, and psychological concerns. Dr. Brislin also offers psychotherapy services, practicing primarily from a cognitive behavioral perspective. Her practice is located in Sparta, New Jersey with easy access from route 15.
Dr. Brislin earned her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified clinical neuropsychologist who completed her postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Allegheny General Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Brislin also has experience teaching psychology at an undergraduate and graduate level. She served as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Master in Counseling Program at Waynesburg University, and Associate Faculty member in the Psychology Department of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Brislin was awarded the Early Career Psychologist Credentialing Scholarship from National Register of Health Care Service Providers in Psychology. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association (Division 40), the International Neuropsychological Society, and the National Association of Neuropsychology. Dr. Brislin has presented at both regional and national conferences. She currently holds hospital privileges at Morristown Medical Center.
