Neuropsychological Evaluations
Neuropsychological assessment may help you and your physician understand how the different areas and systems of the brain are working together. Evaluations are recommended whenever there is a change in behavior, personality, cognitive functioning (e.g., memory, thinking), or ability to perform daily activities. This may be the result of known causes, including injury or medical conditions, or unknown conditions, such as neurological or psychiatric illness. Testing will help in understanding your specific situation by describing the existing impairment (if any), and providing a diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Psychological/Personality Evaluations
Discovering more about your personality or psychological strengths and weaknesses is not only beneficial personally but may improve your interpersonal relationships, work life, or progress in therapy.
